The Fair Housing of Riverside County recently opened a satellite office in the Murrieta Public Library to help homeowners who are stuck with mortgage loans they can no longer afford. Jesse Limon will head up the new office and bring his many years of experience in the mortgage business to assist homeowners who may be facing foreclosure by arming them with the information needed to make the right decisions for their particular situation.
The need became apparent after a foreclosure prevention workshop held in July, in which 300 people attended, convinced Murrieta City Officials to invite the Fair housing council to open shop in the library to help the residents who are struggling to keep their part of the American dream of home ownership. It's a stressful time for families who find themselves in this situation but the Council serves as a nonprofit advocacy group that reviews loan documents and in some instances acts as a intermediary between lenders and borrowers to seek loan modifications for the borrower to keep their home.
Each Case Is reviewed individually, all loans will not qualify for modification, and the client will leave with the information needed to make an informed decision that will benefit their family to the utmost but if foreclosure cannot be avoided they will know and understand their legal rights and free services available to them.
With The High Number Of Foreclosures taking place across the country no family should feel alone without hope. If you find yourself in this situation please do your family and yourself a huge favor and give the Fair Housing Council a call.
